Renokrew is currently seeking a Construction Site Supervisor for a new development in Mississaugas First Nation – Blind River, ON.

In the role of Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and direction of construction activities. You will also promote, enforce, and maintain a sound working knowledge of environmental and health and safety as per Renokrew’s Health and Safety Program.

Key Accountabilities

  • Accurately monitor that quantities remaining to complete the project in the estimate are sufficient to complete the project in the field
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation and internal H&S and Environmental policies and procedures in daily operations.
  • Ensure quality of all work completed, monitoring sub-contractors’ materials and workmanship
  • Coordinate Renokrew workforce and sub-trades on site.
  • Ensure equipment and materials are adequately supplied
  • Enforce quality control and conformance with specifications
  • Measure and record quantities to date as required and report quantities weekly and monthly
  • Assist subcontractor(s) in scheduling their work and provide direction where necessary
  • Complete three week look ahead schedule on timely basis
  • Perform site layout and ensure accuracy
  • Maintain construction drawing log and as built drawings
  • Continuous review of Contract Drawings to identify discrepancies between various disciplines

Education & Skill Requirements

  • Completion of a Degree or Diploma in Construction related program
  • 5 years of on site experience in construction related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction equipment and practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Blueprint reading
  • Surveying knowledge and experience
  • Strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, AutoCAD)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Working Conditions:

  • Located on site, personal protective equipment (i.e. hard hat, safety boots) required at all times.

A Site Supervisor must have their Working at Heights certification, WHIMIS, AODA, MMH, Supervisor Health and Safety Awareness, and Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level A training.

Job Description

You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Leadership to ensure our financial systems, reporting, and controls are accurate, timely, and aligned with the business’s strategic goals.

– Lead monthly and quarterly financial close, ensuring timely reporting of P&L, balance sheet, WIP, and cash flow statements.
– Oversee all project cost accounting activities, including budgeting, progress billings, holdbacks, and change orders.
– Drive accuracy and accountability in Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecasting and Work-in-Progress (WIP) reviews.
– Partner with operations to strengthen forecasting, margin tracking, and decision-making.
– Oversee AR/AP, payroll, and cash management with strong internal controls and process discipline.
– Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, connecting backlog and bid pipeline to financial planning.
– Optimize our ERP system (Jonas Premier) — standardize data, automate reporting, and develop dashboards for actionable insights.
– Coach and mentor the finance team, ensuring collaboration, development, and clarity in goals and performance.

Requirements

– CPA (CA/CGA/CMA preferred; 7–10+ years in construction or general contracting, with strong experience in job costing, WIP, and revenue recognition.
– Advanced Excel (Power Query/Pivot) and ERP proficiency (Jonas Premier experience is an asset).
– Deep understanding of ASPE/GAAP, progress billing, change management, subcontractor – – compliance, and bonding/insurance requirements.
Analytical, collaborative, and hands-on leader with a high sense of ownership, integrity, and calm under pressure.
– A mentor and process-builder who enjoys improving systems, partnering with operations, and strengthening the financial backbone of the business.

Oversee new build construction & renovations of ICI projects in the GTA and parts of Northern Ontario.
Schedule and monitor project completion
Manage all trade contracts, relationships, and documentation
Develop overall project schedules and ensure project stays within desired timelines & budget
Completely understand full ICI project scopes
Understand and administer contractual agreement between the company, client, and sub-contractors
Address all relevant issues with the appropriate correspondence in a professional manner
Attendance at regularly scheduled project meetings
Responsible for materials purchased for each project
Perform budget forecasting for projects, including design build, construction management, etc.
Produce project specific logs including change orders logs, RFI logs, shop drawing logs, etc.
All necessary coordination of permits, sub-trades, Site Superintendents and all other project stakeholders
Deliver projects on-time, within-budget, within specifications, and compliant with all requirements including but not limited to regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Review all change orders, responses to RFI, signing progress payment requests, and review all documentation.
Control all building-related processes, including permitting, design, construction, and close-out / occupancy
Establish project goals and requirements through interaction with clients
Track and report overall project progress in relation to project goals, requirements, schedules, and budgets
Proactive budget and schedule management
Facilitate contract negotiations
Progressively develop the project budget while maintaining optimum performance
Maintain close communication with Site Superintendent as to adequately support required administrative tasks within all ongoing projects
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and consultants to determine the specifications of the project
Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
Resolve any issues and delays
Supervise, mentor, coach and train project personnel
Prepare the baseline schedule, maintaining and updating throughout the project life cycle
Manage the Change Order process
Request for Quotation from inquiry to construction/as built drawings stage
Establish and administer project budgets and schedules and approve changes to scope of work within project management guidelines
Oversee installation schedules and manage client communications & expectations
Select suppliers and sub-trades and obtaining quotations
Assist with and/or clarify scope of work with sub-trades and suppliers
Manage the submittals and approvals process
Reviewing shop drawings
Responsible for all aspects of the project
Strong General Contractor background and experience in the Canadian ICI construction industry
